Carrara

Carrara marble is a white or blue-grey marble quarried in the city of Carrara, which is in the northernmost tip of modern-day Tuscany, Italy. It has been used since the Ancient Roman times, when it was known as “Luni marble.”

Carrara is commonly used in sculpture as well as building decoration, partly because of its free, seamless texture and less expensive price.
